It's still hot. The weather for me has been hot all summer (it usually is, but we're actually breaking records where I live this time. . . . ) . And whenever the weather is hot, I usually can't cool off. And now I bring you random updates on my life!

Health Updates:

Feeling slightly better, but not too much. . . . I still have a tiny bit of sore throat; but it comes and goes, and is nowhere near as severe as when I last reported. I still cough and I still have a stuffy nose. I sometimes also still have fever; but, again, it comes and goes, and is not as severe as before. Overall, however, I seem to have a little more energy; although, it could just be restlessness.

Television Opinions:

Okay, I have a show on my mind here that I want to get off of my chest: I've been a little disappointed with Total Drama Action recently. Don't get me wrong: I'm still REALLY into the show, I just have a few gripes. For one thing, it's not on enough or on long enough. It's a small half hour show that comes on only once a week. Subtract the commercials (which take up about half of a show's airtime these days) and you only have fifteen minutes of real show per week at the most. -_-' Let's face it, you can't do that much very thoroughly in fifteen minutes; so, I think they could do better. They need to either show the show for a full hour once a week (like normal reality shows) or do two half hour shows twice a week. It's not enough time otherwise, and I'm left feeling dissatisfied after each show (like wanting more dissatisfied) . In addition, I want to say all of my opinions on the Gwen/Trent affair. Firstly . . . I think it's REALLY sad the way they broke up like they did, and I really hope they get back together. Also, I do feel sorry for Trent; honestly, I do. He got the short end of the stick, as the saying goes. But I also think the show is being WAY too hard on Gwen. Yes, she messed up; but, in her defense, Trent DID come off as really creepy in the show. I mean STALKER creepy. And while throwing challenges for her was a sweet thing, I can also understand her point of view on wanting to win fairly; so, she probably broke up with Trent not to hurt him, but more or less to make him wake up and smell the coffee. Justin is the one who instigated the whole voting off thing; Gwen tried to make the whole thing between her and Trent private, and the evil super model eavesdropped, blabbed, and made Gwen seem like the bad guy. Gwen didn't even know about it at first; and even when she found out, how was she supposed to handle it without hurting Trent? I wouldn't know. . . . Oh, and the number nine thing? Not as creepy now with Trent's explanation, but GWEN DIDN'T KNOW. It was mostly Duncan's fault on that part, because he's the one who pointed out the coincidence in the first place; and, at the time, I honestly thought the same thing. Trent never said otherwise until it was too late; of course, he didn't know about the rumor circulating either, but he still could've explained his nine obsession earlier. -_-' So, overall, what I'm saying is that, though I feel sorry for Trent, I don't believe that Gwen is completely in the wrong, and I'm still rooting for her.

Conclusion

. . . I'd say more, but I said a lot more than I thought I would about Total Drama Action. So, I'll save any other material I have for another time. Thanks for letting me vent . . . again. Peace out for now!
